I'm only about two and half chapters in, it's mostly been a lot of talking. But the book is around 680 pages. I'm off the next few days so my plan is to be done by the weekend. Then I've got to get back to American Gods. I'm starting to discover that Neil Gaiman is simply marvelous. |

I read that the author of the book is being sued.<<
Yes, I saw a blurb about that not too long ago. Very, very odd tale... |

| Jafar30 Fri 8/26/2005 11:56a | Miss Candice I'm sorry to say that I'm having trouble getting into Eldest. It's not as good as Eragon. Hopefully things will pick up, but so far very disappointing. |

| MissCandice Sat 8/27/2005 7:06p | Well poo. I don't even know when I will get a chance to read it. I just got a notice that whatever book club I bought it from is temporarily out of stock. Grrrr. I read a bad review but I still want to read it!
Right now I am reading a Sharon McCone mystery from Marcia Muller, "Till The Butchers Cut Him Down". I am not a series reader generally but I do read Marcia Muller and Sue Grafton. |

| Labuda Sat 8/27/2005 9:26p | Nothing until Friday, I think. Friday is when we fly to WDW, and I bought a couple new books today for the occasion - the 2nd Bridget Jones book, and a book co-written by Steven King and Peter Straub (I'm so-so on King, but a BIG Straub fan, so really looking forward to this read!). |
