Yeah I'm looking for the Mass Market paperback. I figure my books look somewhat better on the shelf if they match.<<
I just got a look at the "Wolves of the Calla" mass market. It's a fraction of an inch taller than the previous volumes. It's just different enough to look really wrong next to the others on the shelf. I don't know what the publisher was thinking. |

| DDMAN26 Mon 1/30/2006 3:41p | Yeah I bought Wolves of the Calla anyway, but I'm not too happy about the look. Oh well it's what's on the inside that counts. |

| jasmine7 Mon 1/30/2006 3:58p | Heh, I'm reading those, too, DD. I had started rereading The Waste Lands a couple of weeks ago (the only one I've read, lol), but I ordered the entire series from the Sci-Fi Book Club last week. Unfortunately, all but The Dark Tower are on back-order, so I'm going to have to wait until I start from the beginning and work through the series.
I'm going to start rereading an old favorite tonight: The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. I'm also rereading Pandora by Anne Rice. Out of all of the Vampire Chronicles books I've read, I think it's the best. Pandora is a fabulous, strong, and well-written character, and her story is addictive. |
