| shellsbutt Wed 4/21/2004 2:02p | jnemo- How about the Perri O'Shaughnessy books? They're actually mysteries written by two sisters about a female lawyer based in Lake Tahoe. I'm not sure how many books there are, but I found them to be good reading! -Shelley |

| tink2680 Wed 4/21/2004 2:21p | I just finished "Acorna's Triumph" by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough. It is the latest in the Acorna series. I was on a fantasy art page yesterday and I saw some of Michael Whelans art and it makes me want to re-read the Crystal Singer series by Anne McCaffrey again. |

| LacyBelle Wed 4/21/2004 5:18p | jnemo - Have you read any books by J.D. Robb? It's a pseudonym for the romance novelist Nora Roberts.
J.D. Robb writes a series of novels about a NYC detective. The stories are set in the 2050s (which is a little strange), but they make good mindless, vacation type reading.

| Chedstro Sun 4/25/2004 5:06p | I'm now reading "The Eyre Affair" by Jasper Fforde. It's extremely funny and very cleverly written. Sort of an alternate universe, mystery with time-travel.
