One of my most wonderful girl freinds in college was named Laurie. Then I married a great lady with a different name, but when I was accepted by my agent and that was her name - I told her that her name had brought me good luck in the past. Luckily, she had a good sense of humor and we have hit it off wonderfully over the past four years. My first book, though not a break-away success, did fairly well, and she had the faith in it to promote it and find me a publisher. Laurie's really a great lady in my opinion. |

| MissCandice Thu 8/17/2006 9:12p | No, but after I read "Of Mice and Men" (LP bookclub in da house) I was interested in reading more from him but hadn't gotten around to it before, so it's a new one for me. |
