| aehuckjensen Wed 5/5/2004 10:10p | I just bought the newest 'Princess Diaries' book (I'm 32 years old. LOL) but haven't had time to read it yet. I just read 'The True and Outstanding Aventures of the Hunt Sisters' a couple of weeks ago. It's just about time to re-read 'The Stand', 'The Witching Hour' or 'Helter Skelter' again. |

Yes, I have the next book just needed to read a couple of other styles in between. I think the third is in hardcover and he's working on the fourth. Yay, much to look forward to.
Cindy (The DaVinci Code is the best book I've read in a very long time) |

| TALL Disney Guy Fri 5/14/2004 3:10p | FaMulan, very cool...even though my favorite gods and goddesses aren't major players in the "Iliad" or "Odyssey", tales are regaled of them and/or references made, so I think it's cool how Homer utilized *many* different entities in those epics in a variety of ways.
And how cool that *Iris* is the main messenger in the "Iliad", and not Hermes...very interesting... |

| FaMulan Fri 5/14/2004 3:37p | TDG, I've only finished the first chapter (yes, it's a prose translation. We have a verse translation, but my brain's not functioning along those lines right now).
So far I've come across Apollo, Athena, Thetis, Zeus, Hera and Hephaestus. I know the basic story, but have never read the whole thing. I have read the Odyssey during a Mythology course at University. It's been very good so far. |

| TALL Disney Guy Fri 5/14/2004 3:51p | Cool, Fa...yeah, Artemis and Dionysus are my 2 BIG fav'rite of each gender (though Homer recognizes Artemis more than Dionysus in these works).
A prose version, huh? Hmmm...I may have to look into that, sounds purty interestin'... |
