| FiveBearRugs Wed 5/26/2004 11:29p | I still haven't gotten my feedback when I won Demona a couple of months ago! Rrrrrrrrrr...
And I wished I had won Denahi during the auction, and not after it... my feedback number would have been higher... by one! lol

| FiveBearRugs Wed 5/26/2004 11:39p | Let's see...
THINGS I WON ON EBAY: -Ratigan beanie -Fireball Shooting Hades figure -Shan Yu Happy Meal figure (falcon flaps wings) -Aristocats Pannini stickers (for Edgar) -Stinky Pete Toy Story 2 Shifty Shootin' Prospector figure -Denahi Happy Meal figure -Villains Collection storybook -F&O's Villain book -Enesco Scar figurine -Megavolt action figure -Gantu UK Happy Meal figure -Demona action figure -Steelbeak action figure -Wicked Ways Harmony Kingdom box -Japan Mini Notepad -Japan File Folder & Mini stickers -'97 Horned King and Prince John cards -Don Karnage and Dumptruck action figures -Villain sticker set, circa 90-92 -Fantillusion EuroHappy Meal set -Disney Store Villain cards
Sensing a theme here? Everything was still sealed and brand new except for the Aristocat stickers. The storybook was in mint condition though. F&O's book was sealed (SWEET!), but the cover has a bit of a dent in it. Not complaining though.
THINGS I LOST ON EBAY: -Villain poster and sticker set from Aussie animation magazine; CuriosWolfSo snail-mailed me a scan of the ad -Abis Mal & Haroud Hazi Bin figures -Stinky Pete action figures (twice, third was the charm, lol) -Disney Villains sticker set circa '98 (I forgot to bid on this)
Perhaps the UK McDonald's will have Happy Meals for 'Home on the Range'...

| FiveBearRugs Wed 5/26/2004 11:44p | So I was watching Alice in Wonderland tonight. Some funny things to catch (if you never have before): -The Queen of Hearts' flamingo's facial expressions when she sits on it. -The Queen of Hearts patting her husband's head (and his joy) after she grants him a trial for Alice. -The March Hare appears to be a bit of a player, and might be smarter than the Mad Hatter. -The imagination of the artists when creating certain scenes, like the 'Mad Watch' and Tulgey Wood.

| FiveBearRugs Wed 5/26/2004 11:49p | Anyone notice how Robin Hood 'borrows' elements from past films?
SNOW WHITE: Maid Marion's dancing styles are similar to Snow White
ALICE IN WONDERLAND: Prince John says 'Off with his head'; The characters running in between the tents is reminiscent to the Alice cast running through the hedges
SLEEPING BEAUTY: The Phillip/Maleficent fight music is played as Robin and the Villains are fighting in the castle in the finale.
THE JUNGLE BOOK: John and Kluck dance like Baloo and Louie. The big cat/snake relationship is repeated here (John/Hiss, Khan/Kaa).
THE ARISTOCATS: The minor Merry Men have the same movements as Scat Cat and the Alley Cats. |
