| melekalikimaka Sun 8/29/2004 10:57p | I think we should hold an AA meeting in the Mellow Room. Or we should change the name of the room to something like "Pixie's Tavern" ;-) |

But seriously, how else am I supposed to deal with the news of Millionaire's closure? You have no idea how big a part of the DCA experience that show was with our entire family. Everyone from 79yo Grandma down to 6yo son LOVED playing Millionaire. This upcoming trip is the first time the entire family has ever gone to DLR together, and this was going to be one of our highlights. Mr. Glitter was already nearly suicidal over Fantasmic being dark while we're there and the Matterhorn Bobsleds being closed for refurb. I'm tellin' ya, if Indy goes out of commission while we're there, you might be reading about us in the headlines! |

While I was in DCA this weekend, I was chatting with a CM that works at the Rizzo's Shop about Millionaire. While I know she's not really in "the know" she said the rumor is that they'll be putting in a Monsters INC ride. It would be based on the doors in the movie. I'd very much like to believe that rumor & if done right, I'd gladly do away with Millionaire. |

| tapdancemom Wed 9/8/2004 9:55p | I loved millionaire too. My daughter had a great time there last December. Since I had tried to get on the real Millionaire program many times and not suceeded it was the next best thing.
As long as it's gone anyway, a Monsters Inc. attraction sound like a fun choice. If the rumor is true, hope they do a good job with it. |

| Pixie Glitter Fri 9/10/2004 10:48a | <---- gasps in horror and disbelief at wendebird and tapdancemom's lack of empathy for her Millionaire grief. True Mellow girlfriends would never have pointed out good things about Millionaire's potential replacement! True Mellow girlfriends would have offered chocolate, made sympathetic noises, and vowed their services in whatever implausible and possibly felonious plot Pixie had to bring back Millionaire.
Stumbles blindly around the room looking for something (chocolate? fattening food? her childhood security blanket?) to ease her feelings of pain and betrayal. |
