| melekalikimaka Thu 12/16/2004 12:37p | Things seem calm today, thankfully. I'm keeping quiet and hanging out in the Mellow Room today :-) |

| melekalikimaka Thu 12/16/2004 12:55p | I posted this in the Butter Tarts thread too:
Here's a yummy cake recipe. Well, it's another "non-recipe". LOL
1 chocolate cake mix (can be any type or homemade), baked according to directions on box. 1 bottle caramel topping 1 bottle chocolate syrup 1 carton Cool-Whip 1 bag mini-chocolate chip morsels 1 bag Skor Toffee bits (can use crushed up Heath bars, if desired)
Bake a chocolate cake in a 9"x13" pan.
When the cake comes out of the oven, use a skewer or knife to poke holes in the top of the cake. (As many holes as you want.) Drizzle caramel and chocolate over the top of cake. (The amount is up to you, probably about 1/4-1/2 cup of each.)
Let cake cool entirely. When you are ready to serve the cake, spread Cool-Whip over the top and sprinkle the mini-chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top. Serve :-)
One note: The toffee bits will soften over time, so if you are only serving part of the cake, consider adding the toffee to the remaining cake later. |

Ah! I agree FaMulan. I have had some very erotic fantasies with his CSI character. |

| Pixie Glitter Thu 12/16/2004 5:16p | Good grief, clearly it's time to haul out the big guns here in the Mellow Thread!
<---spreads out the super-duper deluxe chocolate buffet, fully stocks the bar with every expensive, top shelf, beautifully garnished drink imaginable, as well as all the non-alcoholic versions of same, tacks up Brendan Fraser and William Peterson posters, throws scented pinecones in the fire, and hands Candice a Mr. Microphone to enhance her soothing carols. |

| melekalikimaka Thu 12/16/2004 5:43p | Much better! Pixie knows how to throw a swingin' party!
I'm feeling better after my day of Starbuck's and other retail therapy. I bought myself some pine scented votive candles, red and white striped votive holders w/white candles, cute dish towels (4 of 'em!! I feel so indulgent!), 2 sets of warm gloves and a mini-bundt pan! Clearly, I also know how to party. LOL |

| Pixie Glitter Thu 12/16/2004 6:01p | Oooo, fun! You know, in spite of being a pretty frugal person, I am a firm believer in the powers of retail therapy. :-) |

I don't have a Starbucks here.....sigh.....can someone bring me an Eggnog latte and a Caramel Machiatto in here? Please? and maybe a nice Chocolate Chip muffin? |

Here you go, sweetie. Would you like me to have any particular celebrity come rub your feet while you have breakfast? |
