Wow, I'm so sorry. I didn't read this whole thread, just skimming through, and that's horrible!

| melekalikimaka Fri 12/17/2004 9:14a | I'm 99.99% sure that he was just doing it to annoy/hurt us or to be dramatic. but I'm tired of him doing it and since he was diagnosed as bipolar this Fall, I have to act on his threats. I think he learned his lesson after the police came and handcuffed him (for his safety) and after spending 4 hours in the ER. The officers promised they would do the exact same thing each and every time he made the threat.
And he'll be a teenager on Jan. 3.
Thankfully, he seems to be over his rough patch (for now) and has been pretty cheerful and pleasant the last 24 hours or so. I hope it lasts through Xmas and am kind of copping out and am not really bothering him about chores, schoolwork, etc. I'm not necessarily doing it for him, but for the whole family. We need to have the best Xmas we can.

Wow, how terrible. Is he on medication? Does it seem to help? I wish you and your family my best!

| JazzCat Fri 12/17/2004 11:17a | Oh thank goodness there are some people here who I can relax with!
I got called into the "conference" room for the first time yesterday in the 15 months I've worked at Craft Warehouse. While I am convinced I am in the right, my boss sided with two of his "favorites". He's an alcoholic so his attitude is my way, my rules; but he changes the rules all the time. The nepotism there is outragous. |
