| imtigger2 Mon 8/30/2004 2:09p | Are you kidding? Diddy don't dance! He hires people to do it FOR him. ;)
No, I'm sure, it was Usher.
Here's the link to the VMA's gallery, ( http://http://www.mtv.com/onai r/vma/2004/post_show/index.jhtml?a=gallery )in the top middle, click on "red carpet fashion" and Usher is the first you'll see with his large, Silver yacht. He was the first one in with his boat.
Thanks,

| vbdad55 Mon 8/30/2004 2:27p | Now I am not a fan -- but my college daughter is for sure.....and I saw Usher dance on the last Jackson 5 special ..he is very good and can actually sing.. this is not a thug rapper here.. it's a guy I think could have made it as a Motown singer in the day if he was in that era..........kind of my yardstick......
He seems like a standup guy -- don;t know if he is from Florida or not....but that is a class thing to do, regardless of what $$ amount he actually sends...........
I am the first guy in line to trash some of the human garbage parading around as stars these days..music or hollywood.....but I also give credit where credit is due--I haven;t seen the show yet but will watch when it is covered on NW TV in rerun.
And he is not from Florida, but rather born in Chattanooga TN and lived in Altanta -- so even more credit.
As a sidelight - P Diddy produced his first album-- P Diddy more a behind the scenes guy than performer....that is why he has mucho bling..... |

| beamerdog Tue 8/31/2004 6:25a | The tail end of Gaston came through Delaware last night. How do I know? My DH called from work before dinner and said, there's a flood in the office. All the ceiling panels in the front have come down, water is gushing in, everything is wet, and water is pouring down the steps. When DS and I arrived to take care of the equipment and files, we had to walk thru a waterfall coming from the second floor. My husband just called; ServePro had come in last night, removed all the ceiling panels, moldings on the floor, wet vacced the carpets, put the furniture on blocks and did a general cleanup of the debris that had fallen through the roof.
Ah, so much fun :-x |

| imtigger2 Tue 8/31/2004 10:49a | Ouch! That's gotta hurt!!... and suck. Sorry to hear that. I hope you did computer backups! For my company, I do my backups to a portable HDD, then disconnect it and it's stored in a fireproof/waterproof "media" safe. Just in case of things like that. Or in my case (since I'm in Southern California), fire. :|
Hope it all dries out! |

Man I can't believe more is headed your way -- I hope it turns north and out to sea very quickly ---- hang in there...
Whenmy oldest was early grade school age ( a long time ago) - we used to take her out of school and go at labor day all the time- kids were backin school and crowds were very manageable. --I know it was hurricane season but we never got caught by any of it -- this year shaping up to be bad --
