In reviewing poasts 440 through 443, let me remind players that the goal is to reproduce the phonics of the target phrase with other actual words, NOT merely to post a rhyme.
Supper Ream does not replicate the phonics of Submarine. Where is the "muh" sound in sub-muh-reen, for example?
Istas Mall does not replicate the phonics of It's A Small. isst does not sound like itss.
Just a friendly reminder. Which will probably kill the thread again. Sorry. :*( |

the clue sounds:
TIE GURR ATE NEW FEE TRIED
THE-TIE: a stretch
GREAT-GURR ATE: very good
MOO-NEW: no, no
VEE-FEE: acceptable
RIDE-TRIED: doesn't work
Here's my submission for the same:
THAW GRADE MOVE EAR I'D
I know I sound like an anal bleep, and its usually no fun to play with people like me. But part of the fun of the game, for me, is how clever some posters can be.
MANES TREAT SIN NUMB AH is a clever way to sound out Main Street Cinema, but NAMED SHEETS IN A MUG isn't. :)
But, in the end, I'm willing to give up being anal, and I won't be critical at all, I promise, I promise, I promise, if people will just post and keep it interesting.
