| imbartalk Tue 5/3/2005 10:30p | I know some people have complained about the lack of things Disney is doing for the 50th.
I don't want to sound like Paula Abdul but Disney nailed it with this show. Every magical feeling that I have for Disney was in some form or another elicited from that that show.
And props to the writer for a job well done in creatively summarizing the show. |

| imbartalk Tue 5/3/2005 10:36p | In regards to post 9 about material from the 1st 10 years, Walt Disney's opening day speech was near the beginning.
That was my favorite part. The shootin' ducks on the castle were a close 2nd as well as Tinkerbell's new flight pattern. |

DWB: Honey, I am going away on business for a few days. DW: Where are you going? DWB: The company are sending me out to LA ;-)
Hmmmm, I wish I didn't have ethics. I suppose I will be "happy" on this grey island, 6000 miles away.
I can't decide whether the net makes it better or worse. The net gives me the opportunity to see what's happening, but it makes me miserable that I can't go. Sometimes ignorance may be bliss.
Enjoy the party folks. |

O...M...G...<wipes the tears>
OK...what parts made you all cry? For me it was hearing Julie and "When you wish", Next was the MSEP ending. The mix from Tiki to Indy really made me lose it. Thanks to all the guys that took the video and in stereo no less. This show did not fail in making die hard DL fans cry and bring back memories that we grew up with. I have loved DL for 37 years and this show even tho I've already seen bits, will make me a blubbering mass when I see it July 17th.
hmmm theatres use to have crying baby section. I wonder if they will have a fan crying one. |
