4	FerretAfros Thu 5/5/2005 3:10p	I like how many of those characters aren't seen very often. It was great to see Dumbo (looking much better than at the opening 50 years ago I might say), Herbie, and Rutt and Tuke. I especially likes the creativity of including the puppets in with the other characters. I was scared that the castle would look really tacky, as it does in the concept art, but luckily the things weren't as heavy looking.

7	Roger55 Thu 5/5/2005 3:37p	Curtain was scrapped. What I understand is that it blew over during installation and damaged the castle. They ended up just covering the 50th Logo on the front of the castle. I actually liked having the castle as the backdrop for the entire ceremony as opposed to a big curtain until the reveal.

But, instead, I get treated like the red-headed stepchild who has to stay home and clean up after a certain nasty old biddy--who can't do anything but hack up frog legs from the previous day!! What kind of punishment is THAT for one of Disneyland's biggest fans? ORGOCH: Don'tcha mean BIGGEST--as in FATTEST?! ORDDU: Oh, well, there's always July 17th, you know. We'll all have new broom sticks to fly on to California, by then!!!
