Some wonderful stickers recently seen in my neighborhood:

"I'm dating your husband." (note: rainbow stripe on rear hatch)

"Sorry I missed church, I was busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian."

"No more B U _ _ S H _ _ !!"

"Doing my part to p*ss off the religious right."

Oooh... I LOVE Austin! SoCo after dark! An oasis of intelligence in a wasteland of... well, you know what I mean. ;^)

FWIW... I live in the Castro district of San Francisco. Queer Mecca. OH! I just thought of another bumper sticker I saw the other day:

"Your lonely old maid aunt was really a happy lesbian!"

=:^)

We don't really have a "gay area" in Austin - folks just live wherever they ant to live. :) I love it here, and yep - moved into Austin from a VERY conservative burb I lived in when first relocated here. I ove being in my liberal area. :D

"Global Village Idiot"

"Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing it's idiot"

(Back when the Seattle Mariners were trying to coerce Seattle to build a new stadium for them:) "Go Mariners! And take the Seahawks with you!"

I saw a bumper sticker that said "I want to be Barbie, the B---- has everything."
