All good guesses, but this queue is pretty much a straight line (it does do a 180 near the beginning), with a wall leading to the higher footpath on one side and the water (and lots of it) about five feet away on the other side.

The only other ones I can think of are the canoes at DL or the Sunwheel at DCA.

It's the canoes in DL. The line is about 8-10 feet below the level of the regular path, so most people don't even realize it's there. In the wall leading to the path, there are life jacket storage bins, and on the other side are paddle bins. Just past those is the loading dock, and then the river.
