| brotherdave Tue 12/6/2005 2:08p | Nope and nope. You're both in the wrong section of the park... |

| mickey_ring Tue 12/6/2005 2:52p | Maelstrom? |

| brotherdave Tue 12/6/2005 3:07p | Correct mickey_ring! Maelstrom was originally to be called "Sea Venture". I have video from the 1988 Easter parade showcasing all the new attractions for 1988 with Regis Philbin. Among those shown was him standing in front of the entrance to Maelstrom, but, the sign said "Sea Venture" instead (looking identical to Maelstrom's signage). I believe the name change was encouraged by the Norwegian sponsors at that time.
Your turn... |

So what was the name of the dedication event for the Fountain of Nations? |

| trekkeruss Tue 12/13/2005 7:22a | Epcot's name has changed a few times over the years. What was the name of the park when it opened in 1982, and what are all the other official names Disney has used? |

| mickey_ring Sat 12/17/2005 2:21p | 'Twas EPCOT Center, then Epcot '94, Epcot '95, and just Epcot after that. |
