Hmmm....I'm not sure if that's entirely accurate. I was recently pouring through the archives of the newspaper I work at in preparation for our anniversary issue and it shows Robert Kennedy was making appearances in Claremont, California the day before his assassination. I suppose it is possible that he stopped by here for a photo op on the way to Disneyland. |

| Witches of Morva Sun 9/18/2005 1:06p | ORWEN: I wonder if your president has ever made it to Morva, yet? Most likely not. Either way, as long as he's writing letters about Disneyland, I hope he'll also write one about the need for a democracy in Morva. Talk about being oppressed by an onery DICTACTOR!! They don't come any more wicked than our very own Horned King!! If the President of the United States can over-throw Saddam Hussain, I should think he might also be able to overthrow the Horned King!!
ORGOCH: From what I hears, the ol' Horny King's been stock-pilin' weapons a mass distraction... |

THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON
July 12, 2005
I send greetings to those gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland.
This event is a reminder of the imagination, vision, and creativity of Walt Disney. For the past five decades, Disneyland has been a place of joy, entertainment, and laughter for people of all ages. This milestone is a testament to the enduring ability of Disneyland to bring happiness to countless people across our country and throughout the world.
I appreciate all those who have given their time, talents, and energy to the success of Disneyland. Your dedication has given many generations of people lasting memories of their visits to the Magic Kingdom, and reflects the creative spirit of America.
Laura and I send our best wishes for a magical golden anniversary celebration.

| thenurmis Sun 9/18/2005 6:38p | That was a very well put letter, as well as a nice gesture from the leader of the country, toward a company, that for many is the model of the American ideal. Thanks for sharing David. |
