| Rivkah86 Sat 10/1/2005 4:37p | I have read a disneyland history book, and can remember reading a thing about how they at one point considered having Mary Poppins fly like tinkerbell during the fireworks. They also considered Dumbo. I don't think it ever really happened though. |

| FerretAfros Sun 10/2/2005 1:35p | I also read a book that mentioned Mary Poppins and Dumbo flying UP to the top of the Matterhorn. I thought that it was pretty absurd, but I'm glad that I wasn't the only person to take note of that. It said the reason that they stopped with Mary Poppins was because they were afraid that little boys would try to look up her skirt. Why she couldn't just wear something under it is beyond me. |

| marshmallow Sun 10/2/2005 8:10p | Well I am old enough to remember Mary Poppins. It was obviously not a human being but some sort of mannequin ( spelling?) that was slid from the Matterhorn down the wire. She was in the red coat with her umbrella in the air, as in the opening of the movie. |
