OMG! What was I thinking? I have just forced myself out of bed after 5 hrs sleep (post night shift) taking me to 8.5 hrs sleep since Wednesday afternoon, and now I have to pack and get ready to leave to go on holiday in 6hrs time!!!! My brain isn't functioning at all, I could end up going without underwear at this rate. At least we're going to Canada and there will be sensible shops where I can buy anything I forget I suppose, but oh do I feel rough at the moment, am currently mainlining caffeine in the hope of making myself conscious enough to iron (the joy!). |

Sat 1/14/2006 9:28p | Waaah! It's been a miserable evening. I wasn't feeling great but we went over to my in laws house for dinner tonight anyway. Once there, my stomach started acting up but I ate dinner anyway, because I usually feel better after I eat. We excused ourselves early since I wasn't feeling well and I immediately came home and threw up which started me crying (again). I can't wait to get to the part of my pregnancy that everyone says is so "magical." I have yet to see any magic so far. |

my dad is driving me crazy! He is worse then a 5 yr old. Between him and my son I do not know who I want to put into time out more. When Andrew is being good my dad HAS to do something just to "get his goat" like taking Andrew's blankie and hiding it AT BEDTIME!!

Sun 1/15/2006 10:02p | Ohhhhhhhhh, man. Day 3 of tech week here, and I am DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD. Just got home for a 12-hr rehearsal and my alarms for my real job start going off in less than 5 hours' time.
And, to make it worse, I'm one of VERY few peo0ple involved in this show (cast is 19, ccrew is 6, plus director, choreographer, lighting folks, and full-time theatre techs - so about 40 of us total) who have to work tomorrow. Most everyone else was headed out tonight for a "wind-down" drink after rehearsal and notes, but noooooooooo, I had to come straight home and grab a shower and then comb through my hair and now have to sit aroundfor about 20 minutes and let it get dry enough that I won't soak my pillow tonight.
12 freaking hours on my feet today - at leat we have tomorrow night off, though I've gotta work out tomorrow, even though my poor feet are KKILLING me right now... I *knew* I shouldn't have been on a stoll for all of Rockin' - been too long since I had a spot-heavy show like this (I've got about 50 or 60 cues)and was on a platform where I really couldn't sit down and run it, but instead only get a few 2-minute time frames where I can rest my feet.
I know it'll get better once tech is over, but next Thursday (first paying audience, though opening is Saturday) feels like it's 50 years from now.
Ok, done ranting & being a whiny-butt crybaby.

There were two things that I craved while pregnant: Olives stuffed with pimento and Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream from 31 Flavors. Ralph knew 31 Flavors store hours by heart! :-)
My WBCB problem today:
The doctor needs more blood before they will do the biopsy, so off to the lab I go on Weds. to make a deposit of 4 more tubes. Yecchh. I can't go to the lab tomorrow, because I have a dental appt. I chipped the porcelain on the crown of the tooth I just had the root canal redo on. Oh, I'm having a MRI done on my right knee 'cause I can't walk without pain.
It just seems to never end.
There, I feel better. Well, a little bit maybe. :-p

Gee I am terrible! But I DO go out of my way to gain a good bit of sympathy weight.
