Fri 2/24/2006 10:40a | threeundertwo - when we had our kitchen remodled they sent us the countertops that were 1st too big,they tried again, they were then too short. So I re ordered new ones. They joined together 2 seprate colors! (so one side of the countertops were tanish and the other side was green)
We finally went down to home depot, bought the stuff to do it ourselves, 2 months later |

Fri 2/24/2006 1:16p | OMG! The job situation is progressing from laughable to insane! Today, I find out, that the sole reason I have not been offered a permanent contract, is because I had not signed off on a document to say that I can run a system I have been running for the past 18 months!!! Arrrghhhhh! And I tell them but yes you know I've been doing it, ah they say, that doesn't matter!! Seriously the longer this goes on the more it seems to be 'jobs for the boys' not every boy, just the 'right' boys from the 'right' group, apparently having breasts is definitely not in the prerequisites... I may actually lose my mind before this is finally resolved. Organised meeting with senior management for next Wednesday to have more pointless discussions and gain nothing.
Anyone got a job for a highly skilled and friendly Unisys operator/analyst? I can do Control M and Windows NT using ECS as well? Anyone? No, not here either then.....
Oh yeah and I got back my 'feedback' from my (completely pointless it turns out) interview, and I scored some 4's and some 5's (the highest mark possible). That was worthwhile. Then to add insult to injury, today 2 of the guys who didn't even bother to interview as they wanted to leave, got offered 2 yr contracts because they're too valuable to be without!!!! Arrrrgghhhh some more!!!!
