Topic: The Whiny-Butt Crybaby Thread

481	smedley Tue 3/14/2006 1:49p	I lost it at work today, my shift manager (who is known as unstable) seemed to think I was going to say something inappropriate in a meeting, so shot me down, in front of people I have to deal with. She then proceeded to tell the people the info I assume she thought I was going to give out, and not only was it not what I was going to say, but it was *highly* inappropriate and shouldn't have been said in the company we were in. I was so angry you wouldnt believe, anyway I left the meeting before her, headed back to our office stewing, and let a combination of her humiliating putdown, pre menstrualness, and general anger at the state of our work environment (you've all heard the tale) that I just broke down in tears of frustration. I work in an almost entirely male environment, I've never been so embarassed in my life, I don't cry in front of anyone, much less the people I work with, and this is bound to be all around the shifts by the next time we go in to work. To say that I am mortified would be an extreme understatement :( Work sucks.

483	trailsend Tue 3/14/2006 4:49p	OK, I was ready to whine just a tad, then I read smedley's dilema. I'm so sorry for smedley. Here I go ~ I am so frustrated I ever brought up the cliquish thing I could scream ! I was hoping everyone would forget it, but my friend Chicky*D* mentioned it again and I felt my spirits going downhill. I so regret saying that. Also, Chicky*D* ~ my sighs are good sighs. They are not angry sighs. You know, like, "Oh me, oh my" or "Well, twiddle dee dee" :D
484	mele Tue 3/14/2006 5:01p	I'm sorry, smed. I hate crying in front of people. (((smed))) Here's my whine: I am really sick. I have needed a hysterectomy for years and have put it off. Well, I can't put it off anymore because I can barely stand up anymore and I'm really scared. Scared of the surgery (even if everything goes well I will still be in pain and throwing up for days), scared that there will be complications, scared my husband won't take care of me during my recovery and will mistreat me, scared that when I go in to schedule all of this the dr. will be mad at me for letting it go for so long, scared that I could have cancer, scared that I could have a heart attack at any moment because I am so anemic. I'm just really scared right now (and I've got a whole other slew of emotional problems scaring the heck out of me too.) How did I let myself get so messed up?

I feel horrible that my teasing has caused you any...., gosh any anything. I just tease too much some times. I really forget myself on LP sometimes. I didn't think anybody really paid me any mind. I just goof around too much some times. I am so, so sorry. I don't see your email in your profile but I'll put mine in mine and I will hope to hear from you.
