Be warned those unfamiliar with the books, the last part has MAJOR spoilers of the book (though I did put a huge *SPOILER* warning before that final section).

Being a 100% "book purist", I had some problems with several things (discussed for the most part in that last section, but a bit before), but I did like some things about it. I will say though that seeing this makes me appreciate the BBC version more---despite the flaws with *that* one, lol---because I feel it captured the "storybook" mood of the book much better than this film did.
