Having Mickey Mouse pancakes at the Riverbelle Terrace has always been a tradition of ours. When we ate there on our last visit in 11/03, the food was horrible. Is it still bad?
I've heard there are great Mickey Mouse waffles somewhere in the park, and I'm thinking when we're there in June we may have to throw out the pancake tradition and start a new waffle one.

Our pancake breakfast Nov 20th was WONDERFUL-maybe it was an off day!

Riverbelle will be closing down for refurb sometime this year (someone else here will know the date) so you would probably have to choose a new place anyway in June for your breakfast.

I love the Carnation cafe on MS. You can check out their menu ahead of time and you can make priority seating times ahead of time too.

Im with dlkozy we also love the Carnation Cafe and they have the Mickey Mouse Waffles. Our DS loves them. We love the oscars choice. Their food is awesome.

I remember reading about the Riverbelle closing down for an update too. Does anyone remember when it is supposed to close and when it is supposed to reopen?

In his last update on miceage, Al posted that the "demolition and reconstruction of the Riverbelle Terrace facility that we previously told you about has been approved for fiscal 2007, with work to start next Fall"

For the first time ever I finally woke up and made it into the park early enough to enjoy breakfast at the Riverbelle last December. It was yummy! I had the pancakes which I ate in less then 5 minutes, and my boyfriend had the eggs and some other things which he liked as well (I think potatoes?). I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you try it again.

Some of my best park memories are from sitting outside at the Riverbelle, enjoying a hearty breakfast while watching the area wake up. Glad I'll be able to do it at least one more time before the remodel.

We love the Riverbelle for lunch and dinner...Why do they take something good and wreck it????

Wait.... never mind..;)

Well, even though Disney hasn't had the greatest of track records lately, I'm still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what they do. I'm hoping with the better management these days that they'll do a good job with this one. We'll see.

I saw a thread at MousePlanet about a rumor that Bengal was being removed to add-on to Riverbelle. I hate to see Bengal sacrificed for Riverbelle. Has anyone heard about this?
