We were actually standing behind the stage waiting for the unified ceremony to finish so we could get ready for the Newcomb ceremony (that's the collge I used to work for at Tulane). He and Bush were walking out and going in the opposite direction, and Clinton saw us standing on the side and went out of his way to come shake our hands and tell us thank you. I'm just a lowly schmuck who was there to hand out programs, and I got to meet a President! When I go into the Hall of Presidents this week I'm going to go up to everyone in the room and say "See that grey haired guy - I met him this weekend!"
I'm not the type to get super excited over meeting a celebrity (although meeting Ellen was really cool yesterday), but to meet a President, a living piece of American history - I'm still excited! |

OK Ok before we move to WE, just kidding...sounds like a great meet. Although I am not a Clinton fan...I would still like to meet him, you have to respect the fact he was president whether one likes him or not...toughest job on the planet.and I tip my hat to anyone who goes through it. |

Regardless of what he's done as a President, he still was a President and having a chance to meet him is just plain exciting! Exactly. I mentioned meeting him to my aunt today and she threw a fit because she didn't like him. Regardless of how you feel about any man who's held the office of President, he was STILL the President. I'm not a big Clinton fan myself, but it was still an honor to meet a former President. Bush, BTW, blew out the door before we could blink. My brother met both Bush and Clinton earlier this year at a function at the University where he works, and he also said Clinton was much friendlier than Bush.
I already checked in for my flight tomorrow...this time tomorrow night, I'll be in WDW!!!!! I'm thinking of hitting the California Grill for dinner one night, and I'm bringing some linen pants along with me in case I decide to eat there. I'm so excited! I just went to WDW two months ago, but I'm so excited you'd swear it's been years! |

Nah I dont go to point out the bad. Im at Disney cuz I love it! I went with my lil sis and enjoyed our quick trip. She tried things she never dared to try before and its always nice to see her reactions to some things lol
Now 52 days to go until my next stay! (unless I decide to go with my family fpr a stay at the all stars while they go to universal) |
