I must say that this place knocked my socks off about 5 years ago and now it's a CAN'T MISS for me and my family (who doesn't seem as enamored as I am) every single time we go to WDW. What do you guys think of it? My wife says "it's just okay." Am I a nut or something? Is it just me?

I really liked the place when it was King Stephen's. I'm bummed it's a Princess meal now, because it's next to impossible to get in.

I have been one of those lunatics on the phone at ^;56 AM and have almost always gotten in -- but DVC Dad -- how do you feel about the 'package' price now that forces you to buy pictures etc. --

I admit I was a sucker for the whole castle - princess - fairy Godmother thing -- but for $31.99 for breakfast to $39.99 for dinner there are place sfar more deserving of my money there now. It is not the amount, but value for that amount as we do 2 sit downs minimum per day while there -- I just think that price is outrageous and since my kids are now 21 and 12 -- all 4 of us are adult price.

$125 for breakfast -- when Cape May and 1900 Park Faire have better food.....I'll pass from now on on the princesses most of the time.

Well...I was talking more about Lunch/Dinner. I have five kids, my oldest is ten yrs. old and we almost ALWAYS take at least one other family from our extended family with us. I try to live in denial about price while there and then grimmace when the Visa bill comes in so feeding about 10 to 11 and sitting down at least once a day for a nice meal, I guess price isn't one of the things I snag on. Heck with my crowd its so over my budget that I have to go home and eat Beany Weenies and hot dogs for two months. I was just thinking of the taste, selection, and service only. I mean really what ISN'T over priced at WDW ?

"Well...I was talking more about Lunch/Dinner."

DVD Dad, are you note aware of this news from October?

CHANGES AT CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE!

Beginning February 1, 2006, dining at Cinderella's Royal Table will undergo several changes:

-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9. Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.

-- Dinner will become a fixed-price, set meal, also, hosted by the Fairy Godmother, who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

Dinner: $39.99 ages 10 and up; $24.99 ages 3-9.

NOTE: Once these changes go into effect (February 1, 2006), payment in full with a credit card will be required at the time of booking for all meals at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made. All reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies.

Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan WILL be accepted at Cinderella's Royal Table meals, requiring TWO table service credits.

^ Oh bummer! There goes my dinner and fireworks in the castle tradition. We always went for prime rib and chocolate mousse. So unless that's the dinner, we'll have to start a new tradition.

I have zero interest in the Fairy Godmother thing. And I'd never get my son back in there now! LOL

Labuda, no I wasn't aware and I was just there in Nov 05 !!! Well that must be what vbdad was talking about the package. Well, I guess now I will have a great meal with photos and at the end I will only have to leave a tip on the table. Nothing like paying twice as much as before!!! (No I don't like the change)
