This is my first time posting on this site. We live in Phoenix and had annual passes for the past 3 years. When the prices went up this past year we did not renew(we can't make it that much). Anyway we go about 3-4 times a year, and every night while we are at DL we have to have a Grand Gibson. Anyone else do this? It is the perfect end to a perfect day.

I don't know what a Grand Gibson is, but I have a great friend in Glendale.

Welcome to LP!

I am from Scottsdale, and we just made the trek out and back the first weekend this month. On our last day, I enjoyed a Grand Gibson for lunch (for breakfast I had popcorn). It was a lovely combination of Cookies & Cream and Mocha Almond Fudge. Before we drove home I figured I would need some protein, so I left with as one of the LP mommies-to-be said "meat on a stick" aka a skewer from Bengal Barbecue.

Well, when I was there this month, they did not give me a waffle cone.

It was a waffle cup.

I get one every DLR vacation, the rest of the fam changes their choices, not me, I stick with the Grand.

During the holidays I get one scoop of peppermint and one vanilla in my Grand. Other times I might go with one mocha almond fudge and one vanilla or one chocolate chip and one vanilla.

I have pictures of DD and DH standing in line at midnight last December (clock showing in the background) because we hadn't been to the Gibson Girl during our trip and we were leaving in the morning :)

All times are Pacific Time (US)
