An insider with an unusual name, Ztul La, is the one who leaked the information.
Crews will begin an extensive overall to the former "Rocket Rods" tubular rail to be used in the Peoplemover II attraction. The opening date was found on this link:

I just can't wait!!! :) |

I'm gettin' in line for the new People Mover right now! |

On a serious note, check Dean's first link. The idea of intraurban mass transit is still alive and kicking and any of those ideas could be incorporated into a 2006 Peoplemover.
Hail to thee, O Ztul La! |

| monorailblue Sat 4/1/2006 11:29a | Umm . . . he was right about Pirates changes, appears to have been right about changes (and coming changes) to Mansion, was right about the Subs, apparantely about Rockit Mountain, and an incredible amount of other things over the last 8 years (that's as long as I've been reading him). When he was "wrong", almost every time, it was when he discussed something in the planning and development stages and it planned and developed in another direction. Perfect? No, but he has been as reliable and forthcoming as anyone else--and much more than most.
Neener, neener, neener.
And, oc_dean, GREAT POST! :) :) :) |
