For books, you can either give just the first sentence or the entire first paragraph.
To start off with:
"The great fish moved silently through the night water, propelled by short sweeps of its crescent tail."

Let's see about yours--it isn't the beginning of Moby Dick, and I don't know any other fish stories unless the movie "Big Fish" was based on a book. I will guess that it was and that said book is also named "Big Fish." |
