Do you have any "been there, done that - and wouldn't do again" advice to share? Anything from ride advice, schedule cramming, room sharing, bus riding ... to what you hauled around all week and never used ...

LOL - We shared a room at All Star Music with my in-laws. They snore louder then a 747. That was the sleep deprivation Disney trip.

Schedule cramming is always my advice for what NOT to do at Walt Disney World.

It's the toughest thing to do, though...

All those theme parks whispering your name...all the hotels, restaurants, shops...

On this last trip my party was up every morning at 6 AM and hit the parks by 8 AM. We did not return to out room until midnight or 1 AM. Then got a few hours of sleep to get up early and start it all over again.

I definatley will not to do this again next trip.

I definitely wouldn't cram five people in a room at Port Orleans Riverside. It was me, my sister and her three kids, and it was too tight, even with the pull-out bed. Trying to take a shower took forever.

Stay at a hotel on 192, my first and last visit and The Tower of Terror.

What was wrong with the Tower of terror? I was too afraid to try it when i was there in Aug.
In answer to your question do NOT waste your time on Mickey's BarBque. For sure do Hoop de doo, Cinderellas was overpriced for the food, but pretty special for my daughter, so thumbs up just cause she was so happy.
I was well pleased using a "fanny pack" held my room key, a little cash, my disposable camera, rest I left in the hotel safe. Rented a 2bedroom villas a Beach club, great for inlaws on one room, kids in middle and us in master bedrom. was good having the inlaws as we could swap kids around. If you can't do that, leave the kids and inlaws home LOL!!!
beach Club pool was the best. I would take magical express again, and fly using their booking(you may save elsewhere, but they make everything so easy/pleasant it is worth any extra) for SURE use the Disney dining, saved a ton of money that way. I am so glad someone told me about it and recommended it. I would also recommend end of aug into sept..no standing in lines.
