| smedley Wed 5/24/2006 10:22a | Thanks Lulu, it does make all the difference being able to make nice soups and freeze them, carrot and coriander this week.
Not sure about the weight loss (weigh day tomorrow) but I've been down with a virus for the past 3-4 days, so I am not over optimistic. Total weight loss is still at 42lbs though, so I guess I can't complain. Got a session with my trainer on Friday morning (if I feel up to it) and she's planning on weighing and measuring me then to see how I've done over the past 8 weeks that I've been seeing her. Expect happiness or tears Friday afternoon lol! |

| Disneymom443 Wed 5/24/2006 1:31p | My weigh in is on Monday.
Funny though it's not that I have a trainner my Husband does it for me. I made a deal that I would not weigh myself until I'm all done.
So, 83Lbs down and still counting. I started taking my measurments in March I wish I stared in Jan. when I started my diet. But I've lost 13.5 inches sence March 4th.
Everyone keep up the great work!!!!!
:) luv everyone :) |

| 999HAUNTS Wed 5/24/2006 6:53p | Today has been exactly 3 weeks.
Total weight loss is 15lbs. The loss is slowing down. I'm sure that has to do with us being restricted to being in the house due to last's week's sunburn fiasco. |

| Disneymom443 Wed 5/24/2006 7:14p | 15lbs in 3 weeks that is great, that's an average of 5lbs a week.
Yea the slow down does tend to happen, but keep on trucken.

| RAM1984 Wed 5/24/2006 7:31p | Great everyone. I seem to be stuck and I know that happens. I am sticking to my food plan and will try to resist the scale for a week or so. |

| smedley Thu 5/25/2006 5:38a | Thats excellent progress 999, keep with it, it might start to come off more slowly but it will still come off, hope your daughter's feeling better soon so you can get outside more :)
RAM I get those too, I think you've got the right idea there too :) |

| tiggerdis_ Thu 5/25/2006 7:23a | Ram, I'm with you. I've only lost 7.6 pounds in a month, and I'm so frustrated. I'm just going to believe that the trips to the gym are building muscle, and that is why I'm not losing the weight... I have to! Otherwise I'm going to spiral back to my bad eating habits. I'm going to measure myself too because people are telling me that sometimes even though the scale doesn't tell you you're losing (HA I'M A LOSER AND PROUD OF IT) that the tape measure will....
Keep on all! |

| amazedncal2 Thu 5/25/2006 7:44a | I must admit that I haven't been on the scale for a month. I need to lose more but had decided that I'm going to try to maintain for a few weeks. I'm figuring that my jeans are my scale. So far so good but I think that next week will be time to go back to trying to be a loser again :)
Women issues at age 50 are the pits and absolutely play a part in the weight loss area :P In the meantime of course the weight has melted off DH.
Good job everyone. I hope to be a loser next week. I LOVE that, hee, hee.......... |

| beamerdog Thu 5/25/2006 6:37p | I've lost 5 pounds!! I don't have that much to lose, but every pound is a battle. I can't really change the diet (I'm diabetic) but I've been walking a lot more and it seems to be working.
Good luck to everyone here. Don't worry if it comes off slowly - just take one day at a time. |
