It tends to be fustrating when you see the inches lost, get on the scale and no weight loss or 1lb, or so gained.
Look at the big picture it's the loss in inches or pounds that means your on the right track. :)

| amazedncal2 Sun 5/28/2006 7:44a | Good Job everyone :) Tomorrow is the day I set in my mind to start journaling my points (WW). I forgot it's a holiday, even though we aren't doing anything my mind can't wrap around getting serious on a holiday.
I've been "good" but not great with what I'm eating and I've been avoiding the scale. I tried on the dress that I'm wearing to my nieces wedding next Saturday and it still fits, so that is a plus. I look fine straight on but a little lumpy from the side. I told DH that my plan is to walk sideways like a crab so people only see me straight on at the reception :) |

| nevadarebel Sun 5/28/2006 9:06a | I have had a rough month but surprisingly enough, I gained 6 pounds but I went back to writing it all down again and drinking lots of water and instead of running to 7-11 for chips, I started taking carrots and rice cakes for snacks. I am now down the 6 I gained plus 4 more.

I put on a pair of pants that I could not get over my thighs 3 months ago. Not only could I get them up but I zipped them with ease. So I am forgetting the scale for awhile.Thanx everyone and congrats to all who are hanging in there. |

| 999HAUNTS Tue 5/30/2006 7:25a | Saturday was rough. I took my cousin's kids to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
THEY ARE DEMON CHILDREN.
So, I actually had a BBQ Roast beef sandwich to calm my nerves. Along with a REAL coke, not water.
Other than that, I was pretty good sticking to the new way of eating.
Still hovering around 15lbs lost so far, though. |

Anyway, today I am going back to drinking ALL my water and going back to "journaling" my food. Babysteps, babysteps :)
999Haunts, I think that is great, a sandwich and a coke after walking and stressing after kids is needed :)
YAY RAM! I have a pair of jeans that I use as my "scale" sometimes. Right now they seem to have shrunk in the dryer. Yep, that's it, they shrunk I didn't gain "cough". I put them on yesterday and while I could zip them up the fact that I couldn't move and the highly attractive overspill under my ribcage made me pull out my beloved elastic waist pants and wear them :)
