Be careful RAM if you're sore your body is trying to tell you something lol! Make sure you take it easy today, stick to a more aerobic workout, or maybe a swim if that's possible, it's not weight bearing so won't be so hard on your sore muscles!

I've been awful for 2 weeks now, I'm still ill and feeling sorry for myself, going away this weekend, promising myself I'll get back on track after that. Please someone remind me lol!

Disneymom443-
Went to weigh myself at lunch today.

Down a total of 17lbs now. The weight is still coming off, but not very fast.

I need to exercise. That's something I really don't have time to do. I will figure something out, dang gum it!

Slow may be the just right now, so just remember that it is in the pos. Some weight loss is better then none at all.

As for me my daughter and I started to do Pilates. It's not for the weight loss more for the muscle toning and strengthening. I still need to loose up to 42-52 lbs, but it is now a lot less weight.

So don't ever give up 17lbs. is good.

>>Be careful RAM<<
Thanx and I am. I missed the gym for 2 weeks which is long for me. So I started out with everything about 25% lower than usual. Yesterday I did a very light workout and today I am not sore at all. I will only do stretching today and back to the gym Thursday. I am just staying away from the scale but my food is good.

THAT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Thought I would give this thread (and hopefully those who have posted here) a little bump.
I got pretty off track for a couple of weeks and slacked on my exercise routine as well. I got up the courage to get on the scale Friday and I am down the seven pounds from where I started but have not lost any more. (Thank god I did not gain.) So it's good food and the pool for me today. Hope to here from some others. Keep the Faith.

999HAUNTS, I think you are a wonderfuly strong person and I give you the utmost respect in your weightloss life change.I too have seen pictures of myself and didnt like what I saw enough to make that change within myself. I went to Weight Watchers and bought thier books and thier POINTS scale and never looked back..Although I don't go to thier meetings, I do use thier tools and I have happliy lost 100 pounds. ( it's been 3 years for me since losing my weight) It's a long SLOW task, but when you make the right lifestyle changes the pounds melt away. Slow and steady wins the race and you keep your good new habits. I find myself at times in the grocery store hoisting a 10 pound sack of potatoes and thinking how heavy it is and reminding myself that I lost not one but 10 of those heavy sacks! I look back and see how much better I feel body wise now than I did then. I've prolonged my life as did you by taking the bull by the horns and doing this for yourself. Thats the key to it ..to do it for yourself and NO ONE else. By the sounds of this thread, you are doing FABULOUS and I give you the HEALTHIEST KUDOS TO YOU!!! big hugs!!!!!

LS - Thank you! What a great post for inspiration!

My big problem is the exercising. It's not that I hate doing it, it's that I tire real quick and I get super overheated. I just don't know what to do about that. I stick to walking. I walk and walk and walk and walk. But I just can't do the Taebo or jogging or whatever.
