| RAM1984 Thu 2/8/2007 4:26p | Smiles to everyone out there trying:o) (Including myself.) Diet or exercise alone can only go so far. Eat less, exercise more is the key I believe. I have been doing both really well and have lost several more pounds. One simply cannot lose weight unless you burn up more calories than you eat. I am so happy to see so much success going on. You guys have kept me going. |

| Kennesaw Tom Fri 2/9/2007 8:47a | I want to point out that the ONLY change I made so far is with my diet. I am eating between 1,200 and 1,500 calories a day. Since the begining of December I have lost 24 lbs. I have not started exercising yet. I am down to 202 lbs. Yesterday was an exciting day for me. Finally someone at work asked me if I had been working out. I told them that I have lost 24 lbs since the begining of Decmember. Yes, its VERY noticable.
I plan on starting to work out. But I am so proud of myself that with diet alone I was able to drop weight. In the past I have always worked out to loose weight and have never tried to eat less. This si the first time that I have tried the diet approach. I should point out that my job keeps me pretty active. |

| RAM1984 Sat 2/10/2007 1:47p | Yesterday was a really bad one. Lunch at a buffet and a potluck in the evening. I did not gorge myself but ate several chocolate things. I am paying for it today. I woke up with a sugar hangover and had vegetable juice and a scrambled egg, avacado burrito for breakfast. Lunch will be leftover chicken and vegetable soup. I am feeling better already. |

| davewasbaloo Mon 2/12/2007 7:57a | Well, I think this diet business is going well. I still cannot weigh myself sadly, but I will have been on it for four weeks from tomorrow.
So far I have lost:
Neck 3/4 inch Chest 2 inches Waist 3 inches
I think you could say that is definately a measure of success. Now, if only I could start weighing myself. Also, nobody has noticed, so it shows how grossly fat I am. |

| RAM1984 Mon 2/12/2007 1:51p | >>Neck 3/4 inch Chest 2 inches Waist 3 inches<< That is awsome. I think measurements tell more than scales.
Good work KT. I am working to see a 2 on the scale again.

| tiggerdis_ Mon 2/12/2007 9:38p | Dave that's great! The neck is a hard place to lose inches! So far, I've lost 13.8 pounds since the 8th of January. I have been exercising 4 hours a week, although I have to admit, it's hard. I just keep thinking that if it's a hard thing to do, I'll think twice next time and I won't gain the weight again.
Not likely, but it's working right now. |
