| Disneymom443 Mon 5/1/2006 4:00p | I whish you the best of luck!!!!
I've been up to a size 26 and down to a 12 and up again. Tried every diet in the world and now I'm doing one so I can look good for my WDW vacation in December. It is one of the hardest things to do and every diet works for different people. What you need to do is find the one that works for you and only you. You'll get lots of suggestions on what to do , uyou can only do it.
So keep us posted and we'll all be pround of you.
I've lost 75lbs and have 50-55lbs to go. So I understand what you are going through. Best of luck. :) :) |

Oh and of course *lots* of water. Helps keep those nasty muscle cramps away too!
Good luck, may we all have success! :-D |

| dr jones Tue 5/2/2006 4:52p | Hey, best of luck 999HAUNTS. I take after my mom's side of the family who tend to gain and retain weight easily, where as my brother takes after my dad's side, very svelt! It's rediculous how my brother eats, pasta, pizza, burritos etc. and does not gain an ounce. If I so much as look at those foods too long I gain weight. If you saw me you would probably think, yeah right, you are worried about your weight? But thats just the point, I got into cycling several years ago and it made all the differance. I put in anywhere from an average of 60 to 75 miles a day and sometimes 100 to 130. I just happened to find something that I totally love doing and that inspires me. I don't know how old you are ( I'm 38) but there is probably something out there that could inspire you and motivate you the same way.
Again, BEST OF LUCK! and I'll be pulling for you. |

| 999HAUNTS Thu 5/4/2006 7:26a | Thank you everyone!!
Well, its been one week since I've changed my eating habits and started moving around instead of sitting around.
Drumroll..........
6 lb weight loss! YES!!!
That may be too much too fast, but I don't think so. Remember I am not just "a little" overweight.
I hope to be down one size by the end of this month, and continue on from there.
This is so exciting!! |

| smedley Thu 5/4/2006 9:14a | Woo Hoo 999Haunts, that's awesome news! Congratulations, I think the first few weeks the weight comes off easier anyway, so I wouldnt be concerned about the largish amount, you have after all made a complete lifestyle change :)
I am having a 'I feel fat' week. Still the after effects of the weekend I think, I feel guilty at having let myself go. Have been good all week though, and been to the gym 3 times, so let's hope for weight loss next week. I have been seeing a personal trainer for about 7 weeks now, and she took measurements, body fat, weight etc when we started, she's going to do them all again next week, so I guess I find out then exactly how good I've been. |
