Have you thought about having a scale for home. Just to check the weight now and then.

>>I am making this my accountability thread. I promise to be honest.<< Last night I filled my plate halfway with salads and other vegetables with small helping of entree. I drank only flavored water. I had a tiny piece of cake.

| smedley Sun 5/14/2006 9:28a | Kudos to you RAM1984! It's so easy to get sucked into being bad if you're out somewhere!
I had a bad nightshift last night, and one of the guys had brought back some candy from the US, so I allowed myself to have 3 no added sugar reese's miniatures, everything else I ate was good though, and I managed to refuse the Hershey's caramel cookies :)
Am planning on the gym tonight hopefully, keep your fingers crossed for a quieter night for me.
I've been seeing a personal trainer for about 6 weeks now, and when I first started she weighed me and took all my measurements, she's going to do it again in 2 weeks time, so we'll see then exactly how good I've been lol! |

| Ursula Mon 5/15/2006 4:33p | Mouse of the south, one guy here at my work has the problem of gaining weight. He is hypo-glycemic, so I guess that means his metobolism is faster than normal. He has to drink a high-calorie/high protein at his lunch in addition to eating every few hours. When he goes anywhere, he has to have some sort of food on him just to be safe. His problem is that he loves sweets and candies, so he can almost eat anything he wants without the added weight, but then he has to look out for diabetes, which runs in his family!
So, it isn't easy on either side of the coin. |

| mouse of the south Tue 5/16/2006 10:25a | I'm hoping to gain while a few pounds eating way through epcot!! Since my surgery I haven't lost that much weight, but at 4' 11" every lost pound shows. |

| 999HAUNTS Tue 5/16/2006 11:19a | I feel guilty!!!
We went to Club 33 for Mother's Day and I actually ate steak and had an alcoholic drink. I figured that since I was true to my eating habits for two + weeks I deserved a little treat on Mom's Day. Thank goodness for all of the walking we did - This morning there's still no weight gain!!
Now with me out of work for two days because of DD's second degree burns I hope we are not tempted to order a pizza LOL!!
(Please keep sunscreen on your kids, folks, no matter how much they argue!!!) |

| smedley Tue 5/16/2006 11:41a | Oooh hope your daughter's feeling better soon, I've been badly sunburnt, it is not fun!
Oh and also, steak and one alcoholic drink as a treat now and again is perfectly acceptable, especially when you're then going to be walking it off! We're all more likely to stick to it if we're allowed an occasional treat (so long as it's not too bad!)
Good luck eating round Epcot mos! If that doesnt help you gain weight nothing will lol!!!!! |
