Well, not as popular as the title song of the CD, but I liked it a lot more. 1989ish. Here is the first verse in its entire entirety.
"Used to live in the danger zone, any day it could get too rough Now I'm glad I kept holding on, now I'm glad I had soul enough You turned night into day and showed me how my soul could sing You took my hurt away and showed me love conquers anything When two hearts both feel the same, there's a way to beat the game"
Then comes the title in the chorus part. Title also in post 27, does not contain the words glad, soul or enough. |

| mickey_ring Fri 5/19/2006 1:07p | the title does contain those two words, in alphabeticalated order. |

Oh, all right, it's something called "Holding On." Can't say I've ever heard of it. Sorry. |

| mickey_ring Fri 5/19/2006 2:18p | correcto! Painful, but correct. It's on Steve Winwood's "Roll With It" CD from 1989ish. A great tune that I like more than the title tracko.

"Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through. (Everybody sing!) I'm cool. (He's cool.) I can't complain but sometimes I still do. __________ so far."
...where the blank is the title of the song. |
