Has anyone ever stayed off property? We will be there on May 25-26 and we need a place to stay and all the resorts on property are booked. Has anyone ever stayed at any motels on hwy 192 going toward hwy 27. We are looking for a inexpensive motel for 2 noghts. Thanks.

Also, read http://www.mousesavers.com for Deb's recommendations for off-site hotels.

Palm parkway - which is ot the exit by DD - has a bunch of hotels. we have stayed at the comfort inn and it was nice. Pretty resonable too. We'd stay there again if we were staying off property.

You might want to consider some of the hotels in Downtown Disney. Also check out www.expedia.com and www.priceline.com to see if there are any good deals out there. Everyone seems to enjoy the Niceolodian hotel.. not sure how much it is a night.

Be careful about the Motels.

Looks like there are rooms available on www.expedia.com at the All Star resorts but you have to book more than one night.

I recommend the Hilton at Downtown Disney. It's close enough to off-property stuff but still provides transportation to all four Disney parks and is within walking distance to DtD.

I think the original poster wants a room for well under $100 a night.

I've never stayed off property, but if I did there are some really great places to stay nowadays.

I remember as a kid we once passed through Orandlo but didn't go to MK, we stayed camped at Jellystone. Anyone familiar with that? I wonder if its still there.

This is the Radisson Resort Hotel at Celebration and this link will give you everything you need to know. It is an excellent place to stay off property.
