| crazyformickey Sun 5/7/2006 5:55a | The more I read on here about people driving the more I think I can do it. I have the week of Thanksgving off and think it would be awesome to spend it at the Happiest Place on Earth.
My question is how good are the Christmas decorations at this time? I know Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is running at that time but is The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights up by then?
I already know I want to have my Thanksgiving dinner at Libery Tree Tavern yum yum.
Thanks again for you help. |

| t1lersm0m Sun 5/7/2006 7:08a | I was just reading through the holiday info on mousesavers.com last night.
Deb's site says that they don't do anything special for Thanksgiving, as far as a parade or decorations go, but the Christmas decorations are up by then. I didn't read anything about the Osborne Family Spectacle though, sorry. Maybe they are up too.
Oh, and the Happiest Place on earth is on the other side of the country (DL). WDW is the most magical place on earth (I think that's what it's called). |

Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights This elaborate holiday decoration display incorporating millions of Christmas lights, fake snow and various holiday vignettes was originally created by Jennings Osborne at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas. After he was forced to remove the display due to complaints by his neighbors, Disney agreed to use parts of it at Disney-MGM Studios, where it has become an annual event.
For the 2005 holiday season, this display will be offered 11/14/05-1/8/06. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights is included in regular admission to Disney-MGM Studios

Me too. My husband and I were having a disagreement last Saturday, and when I woke up Sunday I came on the computer and started writing stuff down to call and make my Advance Dinner Reservations. I told him not to bother me 'cause I was in my "happy place."

| t1lersm0m Sun 5/7/2006 8:45a | I have to call and change some. It took me several hours to decide where to eat, and what days to eat there. And I still haven't gotten it right.
It's pretty sick when you spend more time PLANNING a trip to WDW then you actually spend there. |

I got through 30 mins after openening and got one of the last tables in 2000. |
