| ssklg2go Mon 5/22/2006 8:25p | Hi, I started this question in another topic and I apologize for getting 'off' however, I would like to know how to go from DTD to a park, do you always have to go to a resort first? My only mode of transportation will be D-bus. Last visit we went from DTD to the Poly, had a quick snack, then on the the MK, it took about three hours. There has to way faster to get from DTD to a park. Does anyone have any hints? Are there boats/ or monorail combination that might be faster? I plan to take my time at the parks and resorts, but traveling between places I want to go quicker!! Any hints are appreciated. S |

Without your own vehicle, a taxi is the only fast option. |

Did it take forever to get to the theme parks, or are they close by? At Disneyland, you can walk from your hotel to both themeparks, so I can't imagine WDW being so big. |

WDW is HUGE! It takes 10-20 minutes to get most places on-site. |

I live 40 minutes from disneyland. So going to florida was amazing. Just be flexible on your schedule. My schedule was not even followed, but we did everything we wanted. We also used magical express and our bags were in our room when we got our room. The disney dining plan also was amazing. We ate at Ohana one night the next night we ate at The Concourse Steakhouse and the last night we ate at Le Celier at Epcot. We got our money's worth. Have a great time. |

River side is a very centrally located Resort. Less than 15 minutes on the bus to MK or EPCOT. Just over 20 to MGM, it may stop at a water park, and about the same to Ak. At least that was my experience last year in June.
PC seemed much further away this last week and the busses seemed to be less frequent, though from getting in line to getting off the bus was usually about 30 minutes. |
