| LuLu Sat 5/27/2006 6:58p | Howdy all!
I'd love to get your thoughts on what I should request for room location at Pop. Some concerns are:
I read the rooms facing the parking lot are noisy with maids' golf carts zipping by all the time.
I've read the pool is used til the wee hours and will be noisy.
I don't want to walk a zillion miles, but would like some peace and quiet!
I also read that 3rd and 4th floor rooms will be quieter!
OK, so what do you guys think? I don't think we can do preferred due to my sis's budget. We also need 2-bedded rooms that connect (not kings).
Thanks for your input! |

It was further from the store and ffod court than my wife liked but we were close enough that I did not dred the walk for a drink, it over looked the computer pool and it was not too noisy. Looking at my map, building 4 and building 5 are closest to the Classic Hall and if you get rooms on the side opposite the pool it should be quiet enough. Buildings 1, 3,6, and 10 are teh next closest, 6 and 10 have no pool area so it would be just the foot traffic.
All buildings are "T" shaped with the elevators in the middle of the "T". My prefered Location would be in building 3, 4, 5, or 6 with a veiw to hourglass lake, your away from the parking lot relatively close to Classic Hall and the pool is on the opposite side of the building. You do want to be on the upper floors (2-4) to reduce guest foot traffic past your door. Have a great trip! |

I did find a map on line before I went but allearsnet.com did not have one so you will need to google it I would scan mine but the front desk drew on it. |

The pool is not open all hours of the night....usually closed by 11 from what I have seen. We chose preferred and were close to everything. |

The location couldn't be beat for convenience (we didn't have a car, so proximity to the parking lot was not important). You could hear people splashing around at night, but the sound was muffled enough that that I had no trouble sleeping (and I'm a fairly light sleeper). |
