I just looked at the resort map. The Classics section refers to Classic Years 50's-90's. Which is the entire resort. Does your reservation say preferred location? On the website/reservations you have two choices for a room the regular/AP discount section or the more expensive preferred. Your comments about the All Stars years ago probably will not mean anything. Especially since they recently updated(I think). You will check in at the Classic Hall and that is the location of the cafeteria/arcade also. Magic Express drops off in the front with the resort buses picking up on the left for transport to the parks. As you enter to check in the maps and their numbering system will be so confusing they must hope you can not find your way back to complain or ask for a better location. Do not let them win!!!Just kidding.I am always polite since my children tell me they have my picture posted in all DL resorts and restaurants.I usually "request" a room close to the lobby on the first floor. My preferred would be facing the Hippy Dippy Pool. Some people would think that is horrible because of the noise/pool activity.I hope this helps.I know this has been discussed before on LP. Maybe you can find the other opinions from the previous post. Good luck and have sun and fun and magic dreams.

last year I stayed at the 50's building on the first floor and it was great, close to everything. I did hear people go by the room but it wasn't that bad. I liked that if we rent a car we could park close and walk a short distance to the rooms on the 50's side. This may be true for others, but I didn't look around to see. We will be staying there in April 08!

Can you request a coffee maker sent to the room? :)
