Which is the best All Star resort. I know they are almost identical but, which is the best for crowds, location, transportation, and for kids? Any input would be awesome!! Thanks.

My family & I prefer the music resort the best of all of the value resorts including Pop. We stayed in the broadway building right next to the piano pool. It was nice & clean. We also were a quick walk to the main building & food court. My kids ages 4 & 7 really enjoyed the pools. Also this resort didn't seem as crowded as the others. Hope this helps! Have a fantastic vacation!!

I think Sports because the first dibs on the bus. I also like the Icons. Music rocks too as we LOVED the Jazz and just passed papers on two condos on 12/30/05 so we have that emtional attachment too.
our kids loved the Music pool the best. We have never stayed in the Movies but I run by it every morning when I'm in Orlando and it looks cool.
Obviously none of the stars compare to PC for its newness and ambience as well as the PC has 4 floors compared to 3 for the stars. You can't help but have a great time in ANY of them though so don't sweat it.

My favorite is the All Star Movie. My family loves the theming.

My family and I have stayed at music and movies and both were great. However with either of them we would not take the bus because it would just get too darn crowded and we hated waiting for it!

All Star Movies is the best. But wait...don't waste extra "preference" money on being close to the pool or the cafeteria. Instead, request the "Toy Story" section in a room that faces the parking lots on the back side where it can be the most quiet. This is the best piece of WDW All Star advice you'll ever get.

p.s. I agree with Blaze. Get yourself a rental car. It gives you so much more freedom to move around. It's worth the extra bucks, and you're already saving money by staying at All Stars rather than at another, more pricey WDW resort.

Everyone is different but I've never heard anyone say not to be close to the food court and pool? I don't understand that at all as the kids love the pool and no one wants to walk too far. Even my 8 year old son (at the time of our first visit) said he felt bad for all the people who had so far to walk to get to the fc and the pool and the arcade and the action. Maybe for the quiet? WDW is NOT for the quiet though. The Cape here, is for that.
I just don't want people to think that it's the best advice ever.

Toy Story and 101 Dalmations are preferred locations though
All times are Pacific Time (US)
