Don't brake for animals tonight
Got to keep the passengers safe
No help can be found in this part of the world
Don't brake for animals tonight

Don't let the night slow you down
Got to get the passengers home
The road is empty, your lights are bright
Don't let the night slow you down

B-b-bus plunge (One more cup of coffee and I'll be alright)
The driver says bus plunge (pop a bennie, another bennie)
The driver says bus plunge, bus plunge

Stay to the right of the line
Don't get the passengers scared
The curves in the road are not really there
Stay to the right of the line

B-b-bus plunge (One more cup of coffee and I'll be alright)
The driver says bus plunge (pop a bennie, another bennie)
The driver says bus plunge, bus plunge

Don't brake for animals tonight
(Never mind the creatures in the road ahead)
The driver says don't brake for animals tonight
(Run the stoplight, run the stoplight)
The driver says don't brake for animals tonight
(Don't think about the lady in the Chevy turning left)
The driver says don't brake for animals tonight
(Almost home, you're almost home)
The driver says bus plunge, bus plunge

Let's get pretentious,
Put on an act.
Let's be portentous
And embroider facts.

Exaggerate it
And dress up the bland.
Let's overrate it--
Let the critics be damned.

Let's get sensuous[?],
Put on some airs.
Let's drink Kailuas
And sit bored on the stairs.

Let's get excited
When we say, "Hello."
Let's be delighted,
Though it's nobody we know.

I don't know much (but I know what I like).
I don't know much (but so and so said such and such).
I don't know much (but I know what I like).
I don't know much.

Let's find a market
For sparkling wit.
Let's make a target
Of anyone with a hit.

Let's keep some secrets.
Let's make them up.
Put them together,
Then break them up.

I don't know much (but I know what I like).
I don't know much (but so and so said such and such).
I don't know much (but I know what I like).
I don't know much.

L.A. proved too much for the man
So he's leavin' the life he's come to know
He said he's goin' back to find what's left of his world
The world he left behind not so long ago

He's leavin' on that midnight train to Georgia
Said he's goin' back to find the simpler place and time
I'll be with him on that midnight train to Georgia
I'd rather live in his world than live without him in mine

He kept dreamin' that someday he'd be a star
But he sho' found out the hard way that dreams don't always come true
So he's pawned all his hopes and he even sold his own car
Bought a one-way ticket back to the life he once knew

Said he's leavin' on that midnight train to Georgia
Said he's goin' back to find the simpler place and time
I'm gonna be with him on that midnight train to Georgia
I'd rather live in his world than live without him in mine

Oh he's leavin' on the midnight train to Georgia
Said he's goin' back to find the simpler place and time
I've got to be with him on that midnight train to Georgia
I'd rather live in his world than live without him in mine

All aboard, all aboard, all aboard
On the midnight train to Georgia
I got to go
I got to go
I got to go

Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
never to part,
baby of mine.

Little one when you play,
don't you mind what they say.
Let those eyes sparkle and shine,
never a tear,
baby of mine.

If they knew sweet little you
they'd end up loving you too.
All of those people who scold you
what they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes,
you're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
sweet as can be,
baby of mine.

If they knew sweet little you,
they'd end up loving you too.
All those same people who scold you,
what they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes
you're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
sweet as can be,
baby of mine.
Baby of mine

-

*sigh*

I love Dumbo.

A song from the audiobook of Lemony Snicket's "The Penultimate Peril":

Things are not what they appear
starting with a mother's love
When a helping hand comes near
it becomes an empty glove
Things are not what they appear
starting with your hopes and dreams
Just one thing in life is clear:
nothing's ever what it seems

Even babies lie
and the stars don't cry

Nothing's ever what it seems
People lie from ear to ear
just to help their little teams
which are not what they appear
We are wrong to being with,
even if we were sincere
Truth is just a useful myth
Theings are not what they appear

Even babies steal
and the stars don't squeal...

Even babies kill
and the stars are still.

You know you ought to slow down
You been working too hard
And that's a fact
Sit back and relax a while
Take some time to laugh and smile
Lay your heavy load down
So we can stop and kick back
It seems we never take the time to do
All the things we want to, yeah

Now, Baby we can do it
Take the time
Do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

Baby, we can do it
Take the time
Do it right
We can do it, baby
Do it tonight

The love I feel for you
You feel for me
One life is all we have to live
Our love is all we have to give, yeah
There are so many things
For us to do and see

Now what you hear is not a test, I'm rappin to the beat
and me, the groove, and my friends are gonna try to move your feet

See I am WonderMic and I like to say "Hello!" to the black, to the white, the red, and the brown, the purple and yellow.

But first I gotta bang bang the boogie to the boogie
say up jump the boogie to the bang bang boogie
let's rock, you dont stop
rock the riddle that will make your body rock
well so far you've heard my voice but i brought two friends along

and next on the mic is....

And now we're gonna do a nice intellectual number for the one of two of you in the audience, here we go:

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel,
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
who was just as sloshed as Schlegel.

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'bout the raisin' of the wrist.
Socrates himself was permanently pissed.

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
after half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away,
'alf a crate of whiskey every day!
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
and Hobbes was fond of his Dram.
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart:
"I drink, therefore I am."

Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sins, give the audience a grin
Enjoy it it's your last chance anyhow

Always look on the bright side of life
*whistle* *whistle* *whistle*
*whistle* *whistle*
Always look on the right side of life
*whistle* *whistle* *whistle*
*whistle* *whistle*

Wow...mine looks really odd. Didn't erase all of "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" before putting up "Philosophers Beer Drinking Song."

Ignore everything after "A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed."
