Right by Carnation Plaza there was this humougous - ok HUGE - bee hive in the tree. It was wierd - the area was roped off and you couldn't tell why - unless you asked.

Later that evening the rope was gone and I ask what happen to the bee hive.
Two CM's were there - 1 said it vanish like magic - the other said Winnie the Pooh came and took it to his home.

I said come on what happen.....

Well at night the bees sleep, so they were waiting until the park close to remove it said a CM.

The entire time all I could think of is where is Darkbeer with his camera to report the Bee sighting. LOL

The next day of course I went first thing to ask what happen....they sprayed the littel bee suckers and the spot was partially blocked as they still continued to fall dying.

I just watched as passer byers never noticed -- bees were lurking over there heads.

AND THE BEE HIVE WAS HUGE.....I wonder how long it took for it to get so big and no one notice. It was HUGE.....

I used to have three LARGE beehives being constructed on the eves of our roof. they were really cool, that is until it got so hot that they fell apart in chuncks a few years ago. It was sad to see them go after so much hard work :(

But, now they are building one on the INSIDE of the roof! :)

^ you don't want that!

They will get inside the walls. If they get going in there, you'll have to have them exterminated and rip out all of the wallboard. I suggest you get them out of the roof ASAP!

I am very glad we didn't encounter the B's in July. BBBecause my hubby is allergic...wow It's amazing to me that no one required medical attention....BTW SusieQ, I cancelled my Desert Inn reservation for October. Maybe if others respond something will be done. Thanks for the heads up...

I've seen hives in the park before, too. Just no way to get away from nature!

Pollyana, I don't think you'll regret changing your reservation :)
