Me being Singaporean and living in Singapore, this sounds amazing. To me at least... Discuss.

Hmmm...I've never really thought about a park in Singapore. It sounds a lot more promising than one in Shanghai (especially if it is the same scale as TDL, which means that they will have to have more attractions to start than HKDL). I'm still in the group that says that they need to fix what they have before moving on, but I think that a park there could do fairly well.

I would not in the least bit be surprised if an announcement is made about Singapore before anything happens in Shanghai.

The officials in Singapore are much more pliable and amenable to Disney's terms than they are in COMMUNIST China.

FWIW, this development IF it goes forward will NOT be a MK!

<<FWIW, this development IF it goes forward will NOT be a MK!>>

None of the ten projects on the boards are an MK.

Yeah it would be something new considering the humidity and heat here. An outdoor theme park would be very tiring. But the future of Singapore looks bright with Las Vegas Sands recently winning the bid to build an integrated resort in Marina Bay and a bid is going on now to secure a site in Sentosa. The winner of that bid will be announced next month. The major bidders are Kerzner and Genting. If Genting were to win there would be a Universal Studios theme park built there. Promising indeed and now with Disney. Finaly my boring lil island home could actually be getting fun.... ; )

Singapore is so tiny. Where would they put the park?
