We usually travel to WDW in October and go to MNSSHP and really enjoy it, but this year looks like we will be out there the first week in December and was wondering if MVMCP is as fun. What do they do during the event? Is it worth the money?

I'm actually in the opposite situation as you sherrytodd! I have been the past 2 years to MVMCP and a week from tonight I'll be attending my first MNSSHP!

I love the Christmas party. For my husband and I the biggest advantage is we enjoy the short ride lines. The free cookies and hot chocolate are nice and we've never waited to get them, we've always been able to walk up and grab some. This last year there were special fireworks that for me were worth the ticket price alone. I loved it.

Also early in December its the only way to see the Christmas parade at the MK. We'll be headed there the first week of December ourselves for our 3rd trip that time of year and we'll definitely be doing MVMCP.

I have never attended MVMCP. But last year my sister and her family visited WDW in December and as gift I got them all tickets to MVMCP. They said it was the highlight of the entire week long trip. I would absolutely to it. Even if it was just once.

We have been to both and loved them equally. Each event is filled with everything you love about that particular holiday done Disney style. Can't think of a better way to get into the spirit of the season.

I'll not be at MNSSHP until Oct 2nd (WOO HOO!), but I attended MVMCP back in '04, I think it was - FABULOUS, and the special holiday fireworks were worth the price of admission IMO. Just GRAND!

My family and I have been to MNSSHP the last two years and we loved it. This will be our first time and my wife can't wait. Our trip last year ended as they were putting up the Christmas decorations. That's when we decided to come the first week of December. We are bringing a large contingent this time and are looking to have a good time. If Disney can do MNSSHP I can only imagine how great MVMCP will be.
