So I've been worried for weeks about my WDW trip this week with my mom because she's never been and I've wanted for so long for her to be able to come with me and see it all...

Well last night I had a dream that we were packing to go back home at the end of the trip when I realized that we'd never made it to DAK! I felt horrible, I was freaking out trying to figure out how we could still go over there before we had to catch our plane.

Obviously this would never actually happen but I thought it was funny that all my worrying was now even showing up in my sleep!

My other famous pre-trip dream was before one where my hubby and I had especailly been pinching pennies for our upcoming trip and eventually I had a dream that he'd become so obsessed wtih saving money that he made me leave the parks one day to go get ice cream from somewhere off site where they sold ice cream with ROCKS in it because it was cheap. Ha! Especially considering my husband is an accountant, I thought that one was hilarious.

Anyone else ever have any crazy trip planning dreams?

I haven't yet, but I'm sure I will at some point in this life - I go too much (YAY!) for me not to eventually start dreaming about it! :) :) :)

We've had a December trip on the calendar for almost a year (I'm finishing my masters!!) and I have weird WDW dreams all the time! I'm usually going somewhere in the dreams, like on the bus or waiting in line, but I wake up before I actually get to ride anything. Luckily those don't come true!! Last week I dreamed that we got there and "they" had decided not to put Christmas decorations up this year. Hmmmm...

Hmm, maybe not trip planning dreams per se, but in May my family came down for my graduation and I showed them around the parks for six days straight.

Needless to say, after they left, I was still at the parks, and still telling them where to go and what to do! This went on for quite sometime, but I've finally recovered ;)

Labuda I bet its only a matter of time! :)

Jodiefra congrats on your masters! That is excellent, and a great way to celebrate! Yep getting there and having no Christmas decorations up is totally the kind of dream I would have.

Future that sounds like it had to be fabulous having your family down for 6 days of visiting the parks!

I am always having crazy dreams.
I have dreamed about being in Disney and not have money. I have had many Disney dreams but that is the first that comes to my mind. At night I lay in bed and think about our next trip and try to picture it in my mind what it is going to be like. I think this causes my crazy dreams sometimes.

My husband and I were talking about our upcoming trip and ever since then I have been having a bad dream about it. He wanted to just skip Disney World and stay home and play World of Warcraft. That combined with my first memory of Disney World to make my Dream.
I went to WDW for the first time in 1980, when I was 4. I was standing in the parking lot with my family trying to get my parents to hurry up. My dad said," Oh we're not going in, we're just going to look at it from the parking lot."
Ok, now my dream.
We get to WDW and get into our hotel room. We got a woodsview room at the WL, and what good luck, we can see the castle. WOO HOO! I notice two laptops are set up in the room. I ask my husband to hurry up so we can get the boys into the park. He says that we weren't going into the parks. We were staying in the room and playing World of Warcraft the entire time. That he only said he would take me to WDW, he never said anything about taking me into the parks. That technically we were at WDW, so he kept his promise. The only time we leave the room is when it is time to catch our plane to go home.

I usually dream that I've turned up at the airport without my passport. Another big one is we keep seeing a HUGE amount of characters (most of them rare) at the park and don't have a camera or autograph book with us.

>>He wanted to just skip Disney World and stay home and play World of Warcraft<<

That's funny. I play that game and it's extremely addictive, so I can totally see how such paranoia could creep into your dreams.

Mickey4President, did your father really do that to you, or was it a dream?

If he really did it, did you cry when you had to leave? I would!
