I will be going to WDW first two weeks of June staying at POR. I will have a rental car the whole time. Should I drive to MK or drive to the Contemporary and take the monorail over. I didn't know if that would save time and sanity. Last time we stayed at the Contemporary so it wasn't an issue. Thanks.

Technically, you are not allowed to park your car at the Comtemporary unless you have "business" there, otherwise their lots would be full of guests wanting to do the same thing. You cannot drive to the MK either... you must park in the MK lot which is across the lagoon, and either take the monorail or ferry boats from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the park.

We were planning on doing breakfast at the contemporary the morning we go to MK.

I would use the buses to go to Mk then hop on the monorail to the Contemporary.

The buses don't bother me, if you want speed, Take your rental to the Contempo.

if you go park at the contemporary for breakfast, they will just give you a parking pass only good for a couple hours. Iagree with Disneymom, park at MK and take the monorail to the contemporary.

If you're having breakfast there anyway, I'd take the monorail in. You'll be glad you did at the end of the day when the line for TTC is very long and line to resorts is minimal. Enjoy your stay!!
