We have 4 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 5. We plan on paying for the kids meals and keeping their table services for certain restaurants for the adults to use. My question is does the 5 year old count as an adult table service? Everywhere I read stated 1 table service per person per night but did not state that the children ages 3-9 were different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use the dining plan but on Deb's web site it says "3-9 must choose from the children's menu if one is available".
This was under the Planning section go down page to 2006 packages which will take to a page that has Magic Your Way Dining Plan as an option on the top. That's where I saw the above quote. I don't know how flexible they are about it but I bet you can call and someone will clear it up. Hope this helps.
BTW you should see the beautiful Coach bag I go the last time I was down visiting my daughter.:)

jkayjs Thanks so much. I will check out deb's website. I never thought of that.

I hope you are enjoying your new coach bag? Most coach bags to me are beautiful. I just love them. I wish I could buy most of them but then my closet would be filled with only coach bags/shoes and nothing else. But then again that's not a bad idea. :-)

Coachbag, yes from what I've heard you can pay cash for the kids' meals and save the credits. The credits are not separated by adult and child, they are pooled per reservation. I learned this by reading extensively http://www.disboards.com before my trip.

FYI, I didn't pay cash for any of Tyler's meals and save the credits, but many people report being able to do it. However, there are some people on sites such as this that will judge you for doing this. I'm not one of them, I'm just letting you know.

Thanks T1. I will look into that website. We were told a couple of years ago by some of the waiters/waitress that we've had that we should pay for the kids and keep their wishes (at that time) for other things. I did not know if you were still able to do it. You know if people want to judge that's ok by me. Frankly it does not bother me but thanks for the heads up. I have seen it done on other topics on this site.
