My family and I are going to WDW in December 15-20. I have never been during Christmas, though I have go a few times during the year. I just do not have any idea how to pack? Is it warm enough for shorts? I really need help!!!

Hi XandersMom, I've been the last two Decembers during the first week of the month (going this year too) and its been all over the board! We've had it before where it goes from 2 days of 95 degrees (which was referred to as unseasonably warm) to 4 days later having it be like 60 and got down to 40 that night!

So based on my experience my advice would be to pack for a little bit of everything. Usually during our trips its been about 75 during the day and cooler at night. I like to wear jeans and bring a pair of shorts in my backpack so I can change into them if it gets warm enough.

We always go the first 10 days in December and like stitchcrazy says, pack for a bit of everything. Good idea about the shorts in the backpack this way if you get hot you can change. We do the same thing. Hope you have a magical trip.

In the day time it's warm, in the 70's. I wear jeans and a t-shirt. Sometimes I bring a sweatshirt because it is chilly in the morning. At night, however, it is freezing. When I went, I wore my big jacket, a scarf, gloves, and a beenie, and I was still cold. I hope you have fun on your trip, Christmas time is the best.

Where are you from Sweetie?? I find that the locals, People from the southern states, are cold when the temperature drops below 65 F. We from Colder areas tolerate the cold better but I am always in awe of the shorts at 30 F we some times see here in Utah.

Oh; we'll be at WDW Dec 13-19, and silly me I thought we would not go back to WDW for 2-3 years.

My husband only wants to wear shorts when we go. Dec. 26-Jan 1st. I'm going to pack him jeans anyway.

^My husband is always the same way Disneymom! He figures hey we're from Wisconsin and its still warmer here than it is at home. But when it gets really chilly he usually gives up in the end and is glad I brought a pair of jeans for him. :)

Hey jazzfan4, I'm from California, that probably explains why I think it's so cold ;)

Well JazzFan We are from Tennessee so we are used to warmer weather and humidy, but in December 70s will be a nice surprise. I am still not sure what to expect. It seems that I am supposed to bring Jeans and sweatshirts and jackets, and everything!!! That seems like alot!!! Oh my!!!!
